Breathwork & Yoga Nidra XL Session
Join Jane Bakx for this Breathwork, Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra XL session, a powerful practice designed to help you restore your energy, release tension, and find profound relaxation. Sunday, February 9th, from 5:00-7:00 PM.
This February, TYC embraces the theme of Self Care. True self-care begins with reconnecting to your body, listening to its signals, and giving it the rest and nourishment it needs. In today’s busy world, we are constantly “on,” leaving little time for recovery, restoration, and relaxation—yet these are essential for maintaining a healthy body and mind. This session will make you connect to yourself and give you the self care that is so essential for your body.
What to Expect:
-
Breathwork: Start with powerful breathwork to connect deeply with your body and mind. The breath is a transformative tool that can quickly shift you from stress and anxiety to calm and relaxation.
-
Yin Yoga: Move into a series of Yin postures to create space in your body, stretch connective tissues, and promote flexibility. Through surrendering into each pose, we cultivate presence and prepare for deeper relaxation.
-
Yoga Nidra: Conclude with a guided relaxation (Yogic sleep) that takes you to a state of complete rest. This practice helps release deeply held tension, awaken positive energy, and plant intentions into the subconscious.

Meet the Founders
Sarah Sati,M.A., E-RYI 500/1000, YCEP, CIYT
Sarah Sati describes herself more as a bull in a china shop than a rose in a glass jar. Never truly feeling as though she "fit in" throughout life, haunted by early critique for being too loud, talking too much, and asking too many questions, Sarah wondered if she would ever feel at home in community. Eventually Sarah realized, if she wanted a community she felt at home in, she had to create it. This is where Thrive was born.
As a long time business owner and entrepreneur, Sarah has a deep wish to merge her love for humanity with enterprise and demonstrate that business can be about people more than profit and still THRIVE.
Sanne van der Heijden
Yoga has been an integral part of Sanne’s life for more than a decade, but it was during her Yoga Teacher Training in 2023 that everything fell into place. The rational and scientific approach of the philosophy of Yoga, as described in the Yoga Sutra’s of Patanjali, was what stood out to her and what she decided to learn and practice every day. She finds deep fulfillment in working towards living according to the philosophy of yoga, together with the practice of asana’s (postures) and meditation. She hopes to create an environment where others feel safe to find joy in the practice of yoga and to learn about living more consciously.
